Tattoos & Body Modifications
In some cultures, tattoos were a sign of status. In some
countries, tattoos were a symbol of what clan or tribe a person
belonged to. Body modifications were also used in the same way.
Tattoos and body modifications are considered a form of art in
today's society. Most people have these done for various reasons:
some in remembrance of a family member, spiritual connections, etc.
In this project, I was aiming to find folks who wanted to show
off their tattoos and/or body mods, and to share the story(ies)
behind them.
