The face of the central pedestal is essentially the same for both types but for the Burroughs seal. |

The underside of the machine gives a few more clues for authenticity. The Burroughs machine has three labels one of which is Made in Canada (red maple leaf). Both Microtel labels say Model No. Model BB-5001ADAE ISS:3 where ISS:3 is on all Burroughs machines but any number may appear on any other of the CEMCORP machines. Also the Burroughs label carries an extra line compared to the other machines - Burroughs Model CA8215-TPO. |

The keyboard keys mounting posts on the Burroughs machines seem all to be green whereas the CEMCORP posts are any colour but green. The key faces appear in two forms in the Burroughs machines either all dark brown or beige and grey. It seems the all dark brown keys can be found on machines used at the secondary level. |
