| From the Cavanaugh Aviation Museum Website: "On March 21, 2002, approximately 1126 mountain standard time, the P-47, was substantially damaged when it impacted the runway during an emergency landing just after takeoff from the Albuquerque International Airport, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The restoration began in mid December 2002, and can be viewed when visiting the museum." | ||
