Contest Rules
Return to Name That Warbird Contest Page
| • | First person to
send an e-mail with the correct Manufacturer, Numeric Designation, & Nickname of the aircraft (example:
North American P-51 Mustang) will win a 5x7 print from the
Warbird Gallery.
|
| • | The print will be your choice, since most
people don't want a picture of some obscure warbird that I chose to challenge you with.
|
| • | Yes, I can certainly matte and/or frame your prize...e-mail
me for details.
|
| • | No, the winning print will not have description or copyright
information on it.
|
| • | If aircraft doesn't have a numeric designation or official
nickname don't worry about it, or maybe just make one up.
|
| • | Mis-spellings will be overlooked at the discretion of the
contest judges.
|
| • | Monthly contest photos will be published on or about
the first Monday of the month. Hints will be provided every few days if no correct answer has been received.
|
| • | Deadlines for entries will be at least 10 days
from the time (24-hour clock) the picture is published here, and will be prominently displayed.
|
| • | Contest winners will be decided by Mike Letalien,
owner and photographer for the Warbird
Gallery, based on e-mail time-stamp information.
|
| • | By accepting the contest prize, the winner is granting
WarbirdGallery.com permission to list their name along
with pertinent winning information.
|
| • | Winners' e-mail addresses will
not be published unless specifically requested.
|
| • | In the event of tie (I guess it could happen) both
winners will receive a 5x7 print.
|
| • | Previous month's winner not eligible for prize...but
feel free to send in an answer and impress the judges. |
