Ah,
yes, the "main" evil in the series is within a 15 year old guy, Dilandau
Abatou. Dilandau may be a young teenager, but he is still diabolical to
the core. He is bloodthirsty and insane. (sorry if I offended any Dilandau
fans!!!) His favourite pastimes seem to be screaming "VAN!!!", thinking
of 
how
to get rid of Van, or destroying things.
Dilandau is very arrogant and self-centered. He thinks of himself as being
highly beautiful, and a perfect example of that is when Van cut his face.
Dilandau fell to the ground as if he had been given a life-threatening
wound. "You... you'll pay for cutting my beautiful face!!" (I quote him,
from Episode 4: Seal of the Brothers). Actually, this scar seems to be
the origin of his endless hate of Van. (talk about a guy who can't forgive
and forget!)
Dilandau works for Dorkirk, a guy who is attached to several special tubes
and wires to keep him alive (supposedly he's over 200 years old). Dilandau
also seems to work for/with "Lord Folken", or, as Dilandau calls him, "Strategos",
but he seems to always demand to get his own way.
Dilandau has his own little "army" called the Dragon Slayers. The Dragon
Slayers are a group of young men his age, who look a lot like him, and
seem to be his "fan club".
This "angry lunatic" seems to have what most people with character pages
for him call a "special 
friend"
and that is Jajuka. Jajuka is a part man-part dog servant of Dilandau's,
and he's just as loyal to his master as Merle is to Van or the twins are
to Folken (except without the clinging). Jajuka has been Dilandau's only
"friend" (well, close enough a word considering Dilandau likes to be independant)
ever since he was little. For those of you who know the ending, I'm not
going to say anything, I promised some people I would not say any spoilers
other than the spoiler page (you know who you are ;) ).
And for all of those Dilandau fans who are just starting to watch the show,
if you were hoping he'd have beautiful wings like Van, sorry to disappoint
you, he can't fly.^_^'
